With our wide experience in the development of metal and plastic products and our knowledge of production tooling, we are able to offer a first class prototype service.

We cover development of pressed metal and plastic injection components from within the UK.

Being involved in the development of any product can assist final production methods and favorably affect tooling results, and retaining knowledge of development can only assist in the transition from prototype to production.

State of the art equipment is used in the manufacture of prototypes, much the same as in production tooling, the difference is in the ‘soft’ tooling itself. Tooling is designed and manufactured with low quantities and continuing development in mind.

The sourcing and re-sourcing of production components is a field that we are now actively involved in and an area that our customers are showing an increasing interest in. Our dealing with Asian manufacturing companies and the knowledge we have gained has made us a logical choice when discussing possible alternative sourcing. We can provide an important link between our customers and the network of quality Asian manufacturing companies that we are in contact with. All companies are ISO approved and experts in their own field. Heavy export duties can apply when shipping production tooling overseas, which can be a problem to the cost effectiveness of a re-source project, but there is much to consider when doing business in this manner and as in anything it is about getting the correct balance to make it work for you. We are always open to new business ideas and with the assistance of our Asian colleagues we will always endeavor to help find a solution wherever possible.
